Bottles and Books is popping up at Bell Tower Brewing for an Adult Book Fair on Saturday, November 21 from 12–2 PM.

Browse more than 80 curated titles, with books available for just $10–$15, plus bookmarks, bags, keychains, and other bookish accessories. For every $10 you spend, you’ll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win book-themed prizes at the end of the event.

Admission is free and no ticket is required. So come grab a drink, find your next great read, and spend the afternoon with fellow book lovers.

During the 2½-hour workshop, Carrie will guide guests through creating their own fresh 18- to 22-inch holiday wreath using evergreen boughs, pinecones, berries, ribbon and a ceramic ornament. This year’s ticket also includes dinner and dessert, plus a Hazelmade pop-up shopping experience and cocktail hour before the workshop begins.

Get ready for Thanksgiving with a hands-on floral design class at Bell Tower Brewing! Join talented floral designers from Leaf on Wednesday, November 25, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. and create your own seasonal Thanksgiving centerpiece using fresh florals, greenery and other fall-inspired elements.

No experience is needed, and all tools and materials will be provided.

Space is limited and registration is first come, first served. If you plan to attend with friends, registering together is recommended to make sure everyone gets a spot in the same class.

In honor of our 5th anniversary, we’re bringing a centuries-old German beer tradition to Kent with a special reserve of our gold-medal-winning Hermann-ator Doppelbock. Rich, malty, and perfect for the occasion, this German-style Doppelbock will be the star of an unforgettable beer experience.

What Is Bierstacheln?

Bierstacheln, or “hot-poked beer,” is a German tradition dating back roughly 400 years, traditionally enjoyed during the colder months around the warmth of a fire. The process is simple, but the results are something special.

A red-hot iron rod, known as a Bierstachel, is plunged directly into a cold glass of beer. The intense heat caramelizes the beer’s residual sugars through the Maillard reaction, creating a rich, sweet, pillowy foam with a marshmallow-like texture across the top. Meanwhile, the beer beneath stays cool and refreshing.

The result? A unique combination of warm, caramelized sweetness and cold, malty beer in every sip.
