Bell Tower Leagues: Pick Your Poison (and Your Sport)

Love our beer? Love winning? Love winning while drinking our beer? You’re in the right place. At Bell Tower Brewing Co., we run three seasonal leagues designed to turn strangers into rivals and rivals into friends (usually over a pint of Regenbogen).

Whether you’re a professional-grade “sack tosser,” a card shark who lives to “screw the dealer,” or someone who just wants to throw sharp objects at a wall, we have a spot for you.

Fall & Winter

The Vibe: High-flying precision in the Loft. If you can hit a bullseye (or at least the wall), we want you. We run two divisions—Competitive for the serious fliers and Recreational for those who consider “hitting the board” a major victory.

  • When: Thursday nights at 6:00 PM.
  • The Format: 2-player teams. 10 weeks of 501, Baseball, and Cricket, followed by a double-elimination tournament.
  • The Damage: $80 per team ($40/person).
  • The Perks: Cash prizes for the top three teams + $1 off draft pours and 10% off food on league nights.
  • Pro Tip: Matches are in the Loft—good for the view, bad for people who hate stairs.

Spring & Summer

The Vibe: Sunny vibes, cold beers, and “professional” sack tossing. When the Ohio weather finally decides to behave, we take the party outside to the back lot.

  • When: Thursday nights (6 PM, 7 PM, or 8 PM starts).
  • The Format: 2 divisions (Competitive/Recreational). 8 matches + a 2-week double-elimination tournament.
  • The Damage: $80 per team ($40/person).
  • The Perks: Cash prizes, DORA-friendly (drink while you play!) and a chance to claim the title of Bell Tower Bag Master.
  • Pro Tip: Seating is limited, so bring your favorite lawn chair and your best “trash talk.”

The Vibe: Midwest tradition meets competitive card-shouting. This isn’t your grandma’s bridge club. Whether you’re a seasoned pro who grew up shouting “Screw the Dealer!” or a newbie ready to learn the ropes, our card community is the friendliest in Kent.

  • When: Sunday nights at 5:00 PM.
  • The Format: 2-player teams. Matches are Best of 3 games.
  • The Damage: $40 per team ($20/person).
  • The Perks: $1 off beers and 10% off food/merch on league nights. League fees go toward tournament snacks and cash prizes!
  • Pro Tip: No table talk allowed. We see you trying to signal your partner with your eyebrows.

  • Be a Good Human: We’re here for fun. If you’re not feeling well, stay home. We’ll help you reschedule. Please let us know if you won’t be able to make it ahead of time by emailing us at leagues@belltowerbrewing.com.
  • Registration: Spots fill up faster than a fresh keg on a Friday. Don’t wait!
  • Alcohol Policy: No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed at any time. All beverages must be purchased from the bar and be consumed on-site. Must present a valid ID and be 21+ to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages.
